Beginner, intermediate, and advanced lessons are available for kids, teens and adults for both Acoustic and Electric Guitar as well as Ukulele and Bass Guitar. We offer a variety of different styles such as rock, pop, jazz, folk, bluegrass, and more. We teach music theory, notation, rhythm as well as chord charts and lead sheets. Whatever it is you want to learn, we can get you there. Call or inquire today to get registered.
Guitar for Beginners
Guitar for beginners can be a challenge. But our skillful, talented and patient teachers can get any student started off on the right foot. It gives us pride to shape a student in the ways of music whether it is a child, a teen or an adult. We teach rhythm, chords, strumming, traditional note reading and tab notation. Instructors will use both method books and the student’s favorite songs to teach concepts. The students at The Music Connection start playing songs from day one while learning critical foundations. All this while building learning skills and self-esteem. Call or inquire today and get started.
Ukulele Lessons: this can be a great option for younger students as it is easier to play than guitar. Also, perfect for intermediate and adult students for the same reasons. Can be a great add on to guitar as well.
Guitar for Experienced Students
A lot of guitar students start out being self-taught. While that is fine, we have found that by working with a teacher, you can advance much more rapidly and get to where you want to be quicker. Our teachers are very patient and love to help students master all the foundational aspects of not only Guitar technique, but also rhythm, theory, and reading music. The students at The Music Connection start playing songs from day one while learning critical foundations. All this while building learning skills and self-esteem.
Rock School: Once a student has had some experience under their belt playing their instrument, they are eligible to sign up for Rock School which is our Rock Band Program.

Guitar for Adults
Adults come in many sizes and back grounds and we have many adults that have been taking Guitar Lessons with us for a very long time. Many come to us self-taught and looking for help to get them to the next level, and many others have had lessons experience in the past and looking to pick it back up and improve. Whatever your desire, whether to play along to children’s songs with your kids, play the blues with B.B. King or rip off some face melting Led Zeppelin riffs, we’ve got you covered.
Bass Guitar Lessons: The most overlooked stringed instrument, bass guitar holds down the bottom end in any music or band. Good bass guitar players are always in demand. The instrument itself is much easier to play than a regular guitar. A great addition to any guitar players repertoire of instruments.

Hear From a Past Client
“For about 15 years, I wanted to learn the bass guitar. As I approach retirement, I thought I’d give it a try. As an older student, I was very nervous. My teacher in Randy Leventhal, and he is amazing! After only three months, I can play a handful of classic rock songs, and I have learned a ton about music theory. Not only is Randy extremely knowledgeable about music, but he knows how to teach. He knows how to push his students to the next level at a comfortable pace while providing constant, but not phony, encouragement. To top it off, Randy has an amazing sense of humor that helps make each lesson fun. If you have ever thought about playing the guitar, I hope you are lucky enough to get a teacher like Randy.”
