Are We The Right Music School For You?
The Music Connection is the one of the longest running music schools on the North Shore. Students drive from as far away as Reading and Swampscott to take lessons here. We offer lessons for ages 3 to adult. While you are here researching the best school for you, please consider the benefits of becoming a Music Connection student and find out why we are the North Shore’s number one choice for music lessons.

2. Highly qualified teaching faculty who love what they do and genuinely care about their students.
We have a terrific staff of music teachers, all with college training and professional performance experience. Our music teachers are dedicated to learning about your personal musical goals and helping you to achieve them.
With multiple music teachers for every instrument (in most cases), we are confident that we have the right teacher to meet your music lesson needs. In addition to their teaching credentials, our teachers have warm personalities, are extremely friendly and dedicated to teaching you the style of music that you want to learn. Many are actively performing in and around the North Shore area.
3. A wide range of music lesson times available!
We offer lessons primarily in the afternoon Monday – Friday and Saturday mornings into the early afternoon with flexible options to accommodate your busy schedule. Under certain circumstances, special arrangements can be made.
4. No long-term commitments.
The Music Connection offers lessons on a monthly basis. You may start or stop at any time. You are not under any long-term commitment.
5. Conveniently located right off of Rt. 128 in Danvers.
Due to its central location, our school is convenient to all areas of North Shore. Close by you will find great shopping at the North Shore and Liberty Tree Malls, dining and other conveniences.
6. Two music recitals a year!
Twice a year we feature our students in a live recital giving them the chance to perform what they have so diligently been working on. Parents just want to know how their child is doing and if they are really progressing. The best way for a parent to understand if their investment in lessons is really worth it, is to have their child participate in a recital. Everyone is encouraged, but not required, to perform. Adult students are also welcome and encouraged to perform.
7. Rock School Band Showcases!
We also host a Rock School Band Showcase 3 times a year, which gives your child the opportunity to play with a live rock band in local professional venue! We have the North Shore’s most established and recognized rock band program for kids and teens. This high profile program has been featured on Channel 7 News. Your child will love the opportunity to rock out on the big stage with a real rock band. You are encouraged to bring your family and friends to the show for free to share in the fun!
8. A proven track record of excellence since 1995.
Visit our testimonial page to see what our students and parents are saying. Every year, aspiring music teachers start their own studio, and a year or two later it’s closed. The Music Connection has a proven track record of offering quality music, guitar, voice, singing, piano and drum lessons on the North Shore area year round. Our full time mission is teaching music lessons trusted by families for over 2 decades.
9. A comfortable waiting area
We have a very spacious and parent friendly waiting area with a water bubbler, WI-Fi, magazines, and items for coloring. We also provide windows on every door so that you can watch your child’s lesson while you wait. Or if you prefer you can sit in on their lesson anytime you like.
10. Fully stocked music lesson rooms!
Our rooms are stocked with everything you need for music lessons, including amps, stereos, full drum kits with pads, keyboards, pianos and more. All you need to bring is your instrument.
